Overview of the Course:
Data analysis is an integral part of academic Research. The process involves inspecting, transforming, modeling and interpretation of data of research study. This seven days workshopis structured in order to pass on knowledge about the theoretical background as well as the application of research tools using SPSS and AMOS. This workshop is designed primarily to focus on Cross-Sectional Data Analysis which is going to help research scholars and faculty members to enhance their working capabilities in conducting successful academic researches.
Course Outline:
- Scale of Measurement, Data entry and Data import and Illustrative statistics, Descriptive Statistics, Data Modification including Outlier Detection
- Parametric Statistics-I(Statistical Inference Theory, Independent t-test and paired t-test)
- Parametric Statistics-II (Anova, Manova, Ancova and Mancova)
- Non-parametric Statistics-I (Mann-Whitney, Wilcoxon rank test, Sign test, Kruskal Wallis test)
- Non-parametric Statistics-II (Friedman test, McNemar test, Cohen’s Kappa, Chi-square test of independence and goodness of fit)
- Correlation (Pearson and Spearman)
- Linear and Multiple Regression with Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS)
